Slow Practice Studio

Therapy here isn’t about performing wellness, being ‘fixed’, or becoming a more optimised version of yourself.

Slow Practice Studio began percolating in 2020 and grew from a deep interest in psychology, art and wellbeing. The name reflects the kind of space where there is room to slow down, notice what is happening, and become curious about experiences that may be difficult to put into words. It is a space where there is no need to arrive with everything neatly understood or already figured out.

A space to pause, reflect and make sense of what is happening, in relationship with another person. Sometimes that means talking things through. It can also mean sitting with something that doesn’t yet have a name. Sometimes it involves making, moving, experimenting or finding a different way of expressing what is difficult to say.
